Mr. Cizik retired from Cooper Industries, Inc. where he served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board from 1973 to 1996. Mr. Cizik was Chairman of the Board of Koppers Inc. from 1999 to 2008. He is currently non-executive Chairman of Advanced Lighting Technologies, Inc., a position he assumed in June 2004. He previously served as director of Temple-Inland Inc., from 1984 to 2004 and Advisory Director of Wingate Partners (a private equity firm focused on under-performing companies in changing or out of favor industries) from 1994 to 2004. He also previously served as a Director of Harris Corporation from 1988 to 1999 and Air Products and Chemicals Inc., from 1992 to 2002. In 1980, 1981, 1983, 1985 and 1986-1992, Mr. Cizik was named outstanding CEO of the Year in the machinery industry by The Wall Street Transcript.
