LCDNews; July 7, 2011
Loan market veteran Chris Jansen has joined Sound Harbor Partners as a senior advisor to help the firm explore opportunities in structured products.
Jansen brings considerable experience to the task. In 1996, he co-founded Stanfield Capital Partners, which was acquired last year by Carlyle. Prior to that, he was a portfolio manager at Chancellor Senior Secured Management.
Sound Harbor, which was founded by Michael Zupon and Michael Cerminaro in 2009, is an investment-management firm that provides loans, senior and subordinated debt, and equity securities to middle-market companies. It most recently provided a recapitalization loan to Precision Valve Corporation.
